Choice Heatmap

The Choice Heatmap uses a graduating colour scheme to provide clear and simple insights into multi-sector Choice investment options across three areas: investment pathways, fees and costs, and sustainability of member outcomes.

APRA has released an online, interactive, web-based tool to help users explore the heatmap more easily. Among its features, the tool allows users to sort by RSE licensee, RSE, Choice product or Choice investment menu or Choice investment option, as well as filtering by growth strategic asset allocation category.

Insights paper

APRA has published an Insights Paper to illustrate the key insights from the data in the Choice Heatmap, in particular identifying improvements to outcomes delivered to members and highlighting areas of poor performance.

APRA has also provided an information paper on the methodology used to produce the Choice Heatmap.
