APRA releases Monthly Authorised Deposit-taking Institution Statistics for December 2019
The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) has released its Monthly Authorised Deposit-taking Institution Statistics (MADIS) for December 2019.
MADIS replaced the Monthly Banking Statistics (MBS) and it benefits from the improvements in data quality inherent in the Economic and Financial Statistics (EFS) data collection. As such, MADIS includes an expanded data set covering domestic and foreign banks, building societies, larger credit unions and other authorised deposit-taking institutions.
Copies of the December 2019 monthly publications are available on the APRA website at Monthly Authorised Deposit-taking Institution statistical publications.
Further information relating to the new MADIS publication can be found at Authorised deposit-taking institution publications refresh.
