APRA releases annual superannuation statistics for 2017/18 financial year
The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) has released its annual superannuation statistics for the year ended 30 June 2018.
Key statistics for the superannuation industry as at 30 June 2018:
Total superannuation assets | $2,718.4 billion |
Total APRA-regulated assets | $1,774.0 billion |
Of which: total assets in MySuper products | $677.5 billion |
Total self-managed super fund assets | $749.9 billion |
Exempt public sector superannuation schemes assets | $142.2 billion |
Balance of life office statutory fund assets | $52.3 billion |
