ADI centralised publication data items and confidentiality
To: All authorised deposit-taking institutions
On 7 March 2023, APRA released the response to a short consultation related to the ADI centralised publication (ADICP) publication frequency.1 The publication prototype has been provided to ADIs, identifying the final components and calculations used for the items included in the publication.
The ADICP data items were initially identified in the September 2021 response to earlier data confidentiality consultations.2 Following further industry consultation, APRA has:
- changed the Minimum Liquidity Holding Ratio from a spot (end-quarter) to an average measure, to align with the Liquidity Coverage Ratio, which is also an average measure; and
- updated the publication from March quarter 2023 to reflect all the equivalent data items collected in the New Capital Framework, including Section B Item 6.3 Adjustment to RWAs with respect to the floor.3
APRA has determined the ADICP data items to be non-confidential 60 calendar days after the end of the period to which the disclosure relates, in accordance with its powers under Section 57 of the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority Act 1998 (Cth).4 Historical data of up to 10 years is included in the publication, which will be released on 6 June 2023.
Yours sincerely,
Bruce Young
Executive Director
Technology and Data Division
