Guide for Directors: Banking

This guide assists Authorised Deposit-taking Institution (ADI) directors in understanding their obligations under APRA's prudential framework.

About this guide

The Board of an APRA-regulated entity is ultimately responsible for all aspects of governance, oversight and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. This guide consolidates specific requirements and guidance for boards of Authorised Deposit‑taking Institutions (ADIs) from APRA’s prudential standards and prudential practice guides (PPGs). It does not introduce new requirements or guidance and excludes obligations that come from primary legislation.
